Hello there! I’m Julianne Ferguson, a humble enthusiast of all things artistic. While my day job as an insurance agent supervisor doesn’t exactly scream ‘creative outlet,’ I’ve found my own little haven in crafting candles.

I have always loved fine fragrances for myself—perfume—and for my home—candles! I LOVE candles—I mean I LOVE EVERYTHING about candles! I love watching them dance, the flicker, the glow, especially the aroma wafting throughout my home bringing me a sense of peace and tranquility at the end of the day. To be honest, they are an essential part of my life.

The thing is, it has been my experience more often than not when I pick up a candle and smell it, it smells great. I buy it, take it home, only to light it and can’t smell the fragrance at all—very disappointing.

Last year on New Year’s Eve, as I was watching the ball drop with—yes, you guessed it—a candle burning in the background, this epiphany hit me! I am going to make candles, yep, and I am going to make them the way I want them to be. First, they are going to smell amazing; they are going to be made with all-natural ingredients, free of toxins and phthalates, and clean burning. They will come in a stylish vessel with a splash of color. Lastly, they will be elegantly packaged to create a delightful unboxing experience.

New Year’s Day—E’scent’ial Indulgence was born!
